West of the I-25 and south of Air Force Academy lies the Northwest area of Colorado Springs with great neighborhoods and parks for you to enjoy..

The entire landscape of Colorado Springs stretches out before you if you look to the east, but look to the west and the Rockies surround you.  High-tech companies such as  MCI, Hewlett-Packard and Intel have made this part of town their home. 

Developed in the '70s and '80s, Rockrimmon, with its hills and bluffs, was created with diverse housing which includes condominiums, town homes, and single family homes. A more rural area is Woodmen Valley and has upscale homes with much larger lots and some are able to accommodate horses.  An area where some homes have stunning views of the entire city is Pinecliff.  The Sun Bird  Restaurant is well known for its fine cuisine and stunning views, being perched almost on the side of the bluffs. 

An easy stroll or intense ride - hiking and biking in Ute Valley Park, picnicking at the nearby Garden of the Gods and enjoying Colorado´s general beauty, is at your fingertips.  Ute Valley Park has miles of hiking and mountain biking trails for everyone but do be careful of the wildlife.

Just north of the Garden of the Gods is a bed & breakfast with more than 100 rooms and cottages available for overnight stays - the Glen Eyrie Castle.  In addition to its rooms and cottages, Glen Eyrie Castle also hosts Christian conferences, youth programs and special events. Visit the castle and learn its history.

At the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and Museum located on the Northwest side of town Cowboys are the main focus.  The only museum dedicated entirely to ProRodeo, this heritage center has various displays of cowboy memorabilia and multimedia presentations.

Now Flying W Ranch is a winning combination of beautiful natural surroundings, an authentic old western town and mouth-watering food.  It serves dinner to over a thousand people nightly in the high season. After dinner the Flying W Wranglers close the evening down with their outstanding western stage show.

Peregrine, Mountain Shadows, Oak Hills and Pinon Valley are  newish neighborhoods  nestled up against the mountain. Again, these subdivisions offer a wide range of condominiums, townhomes and single family homes with prices dependent on size of home, size of lot, view and location
