Candice's 21st Birthday

A group of us gathered at the Golden Bee, Broadmoor to celebrate her 21st. It was a place that Candice decided would be fitting with the occassion and the manner of living in which she would like to become accustomed :) Not the drinking part either.
We had a great evening with close friends and although not a big drinker Candice handle the yard of ale with dignity, although I must say that it gave her the dutch courage to sing along with the Piano player, in public, for the first time. She even amazed herself.
The Golden Bee is not one that one would frequent unless one has loooots of money but it is well worth the visit. The ambiance is great; the piano player is a lot of fun and singing along to all the old war songs is wonderful. Shortly after sitting down they throw sticky bees at you - we got a halloween bee and Candice got a birthday bee as well. I believe the wood in the bar came from the UK and is over 100 years old and it does have the feel of a British Pub for usre.... ooops, was that meant to be 'sure' ?
